Annual Moon Watch Report

Saturday March 24th in AI Headquarters

Blanchardstown

Our annual Moon Watch event took place on Saturday 24th March with more than over 1,000 people at the event we were delighted to have had clear skies, some cloud did roll in but those who waited the cloud out got spectacular views of the First quarter Moon!

David Moore took a very good high resolution photo of the Moon on the night with one of the scopes we used.

He also made a long exposure to show the Earthshine on the dark side of the Moon!

And finally there's a great shot of Jupiter with one moon on its pole!

We also photo'd Jupiter (at the end of the night when skies cleared again) which will be the target of our next Watch in a few weeks - stay tuned to our social media for details!
