Northern Lights Tour

Tromsø, Norway: 17 - 21 February, 2013

The Aurora Borealis is due to display at its best this Winter (2012/13). Following the great success of our Northern Lights Astronomy Voyage in Norway in 2012, we’re delighted to announce a brand new, land-based Norwegian NORTHERN LIGHTS TOUR from 17 - 21 FEBRUARY 2013.

It’s packed full of exciting Northern Lights related activities and there’s optional Arctic Activities available too. Based well above the Arctic Circle in the Norwegian city of Tromsø we’ll have plenty of time to discover the delights of this university town which was the starting point for many polar explorations. Attractions include the Arctic Cathedral, Polar Museum and the cable car ride up the mountain behind the town. Naturally, we’ll also have plenty of opportunities to hunt the Northern Lights with local Aurora experts, heading out beyond the city limits, away from light pollution.

This tour is suitable for everyone aged from 10 years and up. All participants require a basic level of fitness and mobility and must be capable of carrying their own bags short distances, sometimes over uneven surfaces.
