Watch and Workshop 2018

Wednesday January 24th in AI Headquarters

This event will take place on Wednesday 24th January and will begin at 7pm at our Headquarters in Blanchardstown (just off the M50) For map and directions visit: www.astronomy.ie/map

Did you get a telescope for Christmas?
Or, at any stage in the past?
But don't know how to use it?

Once a year, after Christmas we'll pick one night when there is something fun to see ( We will be viewing URANUS & MOON ) and invite everyone to come along and be be shown how to use their telescope!

Whether it's cloudy or clear it does not matter for this 'workshop'.

We'll also have our own large telescopes in use should it be clear to show the general public Uranus and the Moon and hopefully inspire them to join Astronomy Ireland.

This is also to promote our evening classes which take place exactly one week later. Enrol Here

It's at 7pm on Wednesday Jan 24 at our headquarters (just off the M50) on the above date.
Don't miss this FREE 'once a year only' event if you ever wanted to know how to use your telescope properly!

All are welcome!!

****SCOUT/SCHOOL GROUPS****
While we encourage scout and school groups to come along please call ahead in order to confirm if there are any prior groups arranged to come along. This makes it easier for our volunteers to enable all groups to view these amazing sights.
