Here are two links to webpages that will show you what Mars looks like in a telescope, or in the past/future:
1) MARS PROFILER:
This link allows you to calculate the Central Meridian longitude of Mars which you can use with the Mars Map in your magazine, or just use the map on this website itself:

This one has a more realistic ‘view’ showing Mars as a disk rather than the above link that just shows it as 2-D map (though the PROFILER does label the dark markings – so we use both!)n use with the Mars Map in your magazine, or just use the map on this website itself:
