“An introduction to Astrophotography”, presented by Martin McAree, offers an engaging introduction to capturing the beauty of the night sky. Martin draws on his own experience to demystify common challenges such as light pollution, focusing in the dark, and long-exposure photography, while also sharing practical tips for planning shoots and processing images. Attendees will leave with a solid foundation and the confidence to begin their own astrophotography journey.

Martin McAree is a digital content creator from Cork. He has a great interest in re-enactments in particular Roman. He is also an accomplished astrophotographer.
